Adam Matschulat is a composer and sound designer based between the UK and Spain, working across film, tv, theatre and dance.
Most recently, his work was presented at the UNESCO Week of Sound (University of Edinburgh, 2025) and Encontres Electroacústics (Fundació ACA, 2024). He has received the Sound and Music Essentials Fund (2024) and held residencies at Fundació ACA (2024) and Snape Maltings through the Britten Pears Arts Foundation (2023). Supported by Arts Council DYCP funding, he attended the Dartington Music Summer School to further develop his compositional practice. In 2022/2023, Edinburgh University commissioned him to compose an electroacoustic piece for Energies not Forms not Figures.
His work has had international radio play on radio shows including BBC Radio 3 Late Junction, NTS, Resonance Extra, Ars Sonora & La casa del Sonido on Radio Nacional Clasica in Spain, LYL Radio in Switzerland, FADE radio in Athens, and others.
